Subtraction Facts: Subtracting from 7
Goal should be to eventually have student answer these facts from memory, although this doesn't typically happen until later grades.  In the meantime, students typically need to calculate the answer by counting objects of some type.  Pay close attention to how your student finds the answer to each problem, whether finger counting, paper and pencil, memorization etc. If too much time is taken in calculating answers, skill should receive additional practice.
